Dust-proof electronic cigarette protection performance

The protective performance of dust-proof electronic cigarettes is mainly reflected in structural design, sealing technology and material application, etc. These designs can effectively reduce the interference of dust on the internal circuits and components, as follows:

Sealing structure and waterproof and dustproof design

The e-cigarette casing is designed with a sealing structure to prevent dust from entering. For instance, sealing treatment is applied at the corresponding positions of functional components and circuit board output terminals to avoid moisture and dust from entering the casing, thus protecting the internal e-cigarette body. In addition, the application of nano-coating technology can enhance protective performance. For instance, by applying a nano-coating on the surface of the breathable membrane of the microphone head, it can achieve IP68-level water and dust resistance, which not only serves to prevent dust and smoke oil but also does not affect breathability.

Interface and gap protection

To address the issue of water and dust seepage at the interface of electronic cigarettes, a pre-pressurized structure is adopted to fill the gap between the atomizer and the casing to prevent dust from entering. At the same time, use waterproof rubber stoppers at parts prone to water ingency such as USB interfaces. Through the support of the hard rubber core part and the elastic sealing of the soft silicone part, the dust-proof ability of the interface is enhanced.

Application of dust plugs and dust nets

Installing a dust plug at the suction nozzle can directly prevent dust from entering the internal structure. Some products also install dust-proof nets in the air intake channels to further filter out particles in the air, providing a double guarantee of dust-proof effect.
