Öppen oljning av e-cigaretter Bruksanvisning

The oiling operation of open electronic cigarettes must strictly follow the equipment design specifications to avoid oil leakage, core burning or equipment damage caused by improper operation. The following elaborates on four dimensions: preparations before oiling, operation procedures, precautions, and handling of anomalies, to help users complete oiling safely and efficiently.
First, preparations before oiling
Confirm the status of the equipment
Turn off the power: Some voltage regulating devices (such as dual electrical boxes) need to be filled with oil when turned off to prevent accidental touch of the ignition button from causing the e-liquid to splash.
Disassemble the atomizer: Separate the atomizer from the battery rod. For some integrated devices (such as some RTA), rotate to unlock the bottom structure.
Clean the oil filling port: Use a paper towel or cotton swab to clean the residual e-liquid around the oil filling hole to prevent impurities from mixing into the oil storage tank.
Choose the suitable e-liquid
VG/PG ratio: Select the e-liquid based on the type of atomizing core – high VG (above 70%) is suitable for large smoke equipment, while high PG (above 50%) is suitable for taste type equipment.
Nicotine concentration: Open devices allow you to freely choose the concentration. It is recommended to start with a low concentration (3mg/mL) and avoid high concentrations that may irritate the throat.
Shelf life check: If the opened e-liquid has been stored for more than three months, it may oxidize, resulting in a poor taste. It is recommended to use newly opened e-liquid first.
Tool preparation
Oil filling bottle: Use a pointed-spout bottle or a dropper bottle to avoid direct pouring which may cause the e-liquid to overflow.
Paper towels/cotton swabs: Used for wiping the residual e-liquid on the oiling port and the outer wall of the atomizer.
Spare atomizing core: If the original atomizing core ages or has carbon deposits, it can be replaced simultaneously during oiling.
Second, the oil injection operation process
Open the oil storage tank
Rotary oil filling port: Rotate the top or bottom oil filling cover of the oil storage tank counterclockwise. Stop when you hear a “click” sound (some equipment requires a 90-degree rotation).
Press type oiling port: Gently press the spring piece beside the oiling hole with your fingernail or tool, and at the same time tilt the equipment to inject e-liquid.
Top oil injection structure: Simply unscrew the top cover to inject oil. It is commonly found in RTA or storage type drip atomizers.
Inject e-liquid
Control the amount of oil injection:
The capacity of the oil storage tank is usually 2 to 8mL. Fill the oil to 1/2 to 2/3 of the tank (about 70% of its capacity) to avoid oil leakage due to overfilling.
The first oil injection can be appropriately reduced to half, and then replenished after observing the infiltration of the oil-guiding cotton.
Oil injection Angle:
Press the tip of the oil filling bottle tightly against the oil filling hole and inject slowly and vertically to avoid the e-liquid sticking to the wall or splashing out.
If a dropper bottle is used, it can be injected drop by drop, with an interval of 1 to 2 seconds between each drop to prevent the formation of bubbles.
Avoid oil mixing: When changing different flavors of e-liquid, thoroughly clean the oil storage tank (rinse with warm water and then dry), or use a new atomizing core to prevent flavor mixing.
Closed oil storage tank
Rotary oil filling port: Tighten the oil filling cap clockwise to ensure that the sealing ring is not misaligned.
Press-type oil injection port: After releasing the spring piece, check whether the oil injection hole closes automatically.
Top oiling structure: Tighten the top cover to ensure there are no gaps.
Stand and soak
Standing time: After oiling, let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the oil guide cotton to fully absorb the e-liquid and prevent dry burning.
Tilt test: After standing still, gently shake the equipment to observe whether the e-liquid in the oil storage tank leaks due to poor sealing.
First puff treatment: Before the first puff, gently blow on the mouthpiece (not inhaling) to expel any air that may have mixed in.
Third, key points to note
Prevent oil leakage
Avoid overfilling: If the oil storage tank is too full, the e-liquid will leak through the air intake holes or the gaps in the base.
Check the sealing ring: Aged or missing sealing rings are the main cause of oil leakage and need to be replaced regularly (usually once every three months).
Vertical storage: After oiling, keep the equipment upright to prevent the e-liquid from seeping into the base of the atomizer core when placed sideways or upside down.
Avoid dry burning
New atomization core soaking: It needs to be left to stand before the first use; otherwise, direct suction will burn out the oil guide cotton.
Low battery warning: When the battery level drops below 20%, the power of the equipment may be unstable. It is recommended to charge it in time to prevent insufficient power from causing poor oil flow.
Säker drift
Keep away from fire sources: E-liquid contains flammable components. When refilling, stay away from open flames and high-temperature objects.
Child protection: E-liquid may contain nicotine and should be stored out of the reach of children.
Static electricity protection: Static electricity is prone to occur in dry environments during winter. Touching metal objects before oiling can release the static electricity.
Fourth, handling of abnormal situations
Oil leakage problem
Phenomenon: E-liquid seeps out from the air intake hole, nozzle or base.
Reasons and Solutions:
Overfilled with oil: Pour out the remaining e-liquid to below the safety line.
Aging sealing ring: Replace the sealing ring (usually a black or transparent silicone ring).
The atomization core is not tightened: Reinstall the atomization core and tighten it.
Air pressure changes (such as when taking a flight) : Empty the fuel tank or use a leak-proof atomizer before takeoff.
The oil drainage is not smooth
Phenomenon: A “gurgling” sound is heard when inhaling, and the amount of smoke drops sharply.
Reasons and Solutions:
The oil-conducting cotton was not fully soaked: The standing time was insufficient. Extend the standing time to 15 minutes.
Excessive viscosity of e-liquid: High VG e-liquid has poor fluidity at low temperatures. You can warm the equipment with your palm or replace it with low VG e-liquid.
Aging of the atomization core: Replace it with a new atomization core. It is recommended to replace it every 1-2 weeks.
The taste has become milder.
Phenomenon: The e-liquid has a bland taste or a burnt flavor.
Reasons and Solutions:
Carbon deposits in the atomization core: Clean the atomization core (rinse the oil guide cotton with warm water) or replace it with a new core.
Oxidation of e-liquid: E-liquid that has been opened for more than three months may deteriorate and needs to be replaced with new e-liquid.
Power mismatch: High-power devices paired with low-VG e-liquid will cause the taste to be diluted. It is necessary to adjust the power or change the type of e-liquid.
Fifth, advanced skills
Quick oil change without cross-contamination of odors
Residual e-liquid treatment: Rinse the oil storage tank with warm water (do not soak the atomizing core), let it dry and then inject new e-liquid.
Dual oil storage tanks: Some devices (such as certain Rtas) support a dual-tank design, allowing for the alternating use of different flavors of e-liquids.
Extend the service life of the atomization core
Power optimization: Adjust the power according to the resistance value of the atomization core (for example, for a 0.4Ω atomization core, it is recommended to have a power of 40-60W, and avoid using it at excessive power.)
Selection of e-liquid: High VG e-liquid reduces carbon deposits and extends the lifespan of the atomizing core.
